This course welcomes all lovers of Christmas to Temple Guiting for a very special Traditional English Country Christmas break. Sophie Conran and Nikki Tibbles proprietor of Wild at Heart, one of the most prestigious florist companies in the UK will host this short break. Why not treat yourself to a delicious few days? Guaranteed to leave you relaxed, full of inspiration and confidence to face the normally arduous festive season. On the afternoon of arrival, be greeted with tea and a massage, followed by a Champagne tasting with Martin Saxon. Sophie and Nikki will host a delicious welcome dinner with the table suitably adorned and styled by the experts. The following morning will be spent with Nikki and Sophie, gleaning tips and techniques on how to style the home and Christmas table along with gorgeous winter decorating and floristry. Learn the art of creating a Christmas door wreath and other floral decorations, and about how to choose flowers and foliage for Christmas that will both impress guests, and last over the festive period. Sit down to a delicious lunch, followed by an afternoon spent surrounded by sequins and ribbons, making crackers, stockings and other decorations with Ros Badger. After a lovely crafty afternoon, enjoy a mouth-watering 3-course seafood feast cooked by Maxine Clark. The following day will be absolutely packed, and dedicated to food with the ever more fabulous Maxine Clark. All the ultimate Christmas classics will be created: brandy butter, chocolates and a Christmas pudding to take home at the end of the weekend. There will be delicious tastings, where guests will be able to make and taste different varieties of mincemeat and smoked salmons from across Great Britain. In the afternoon Maxine will team up with Sara Saxon of Tasting Places in a hands-on class creating an array of Christmas treats and canapés. The weekend will finish in spectacular style with a special festive dinner with a few surprises.
